I'm the Director of Curriculum for DIY Girls, a non-profit that
provides hands-on tech experiences for girls in the San Fernando Valley of Los
Angeles. There, I develop curriculum, run after-school and library programs,
and create resources for kids and parents. I'm currently working on my Masters
degree in Library and Information Science. As a Special Projects Intern at Los
Angeles Central Public Library, I have helped create a coding curriculum that
will be implemented at 9 schools and library branches in the LA area. On my
free time, I love to draw creatures and collage videos using the programming
language, Processing. As an aspiring Youth Librarian, I look forward to sharing
ideas about technology and literacy.
